ObamaCare....in a word: STINKS!

Take a look at the 1005 page health care bill...boggles the mind of anybody who is not a Harvard lawyer.  However, since our elected officials seem not interested in reading legislation ahead of time, it should not be a roadblock to voting.   Heck, they did not read the Stimulus Bill before reading it, so why break the routine?

Start with the nutcase, Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, the brother of White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel. Savings, he writes, will require changing how doctors think about their patients: Doctors take the Hippocratic Oath too seriously, as an imperative to do everything for the patient regardless of the cost or effects on others.  Emanuel wants doctors to look beyond the needs of their patients and consider social justice, such as whether the money could be better spent on somebody else.  Obama wants to deny health care depending on age.  Guess what age bracket he wants to deny?  How about requiring pychological counseling every 5 years to discuss how to end your life if you are not healthy and curable.  This sounds suspiciously like defacto euthanasia to me.

He also believes that "communitarianism" (wheverthehellthatis) should guide decisions on who gets care. He says medical care should be reserved for the non-disabled, not given to those "who are irreversibly prevented from being or becoming participating citizens" . . . An obvious example is not guaranteeing health services to patients with dementia or cerebral palsy or incurable heart conditions or unfixable bad backs....

The bill being rushed through Congress will be paid for largely by a $500 billion-plus cut in Medicare over 10 years. Knowing how unpopular the cuts will be, the president's budget director, Peter Orszag, urged Congress this week to delegate its own authority over Medicare to a new, Presidentially-appointed bureaucracy that wouldn't be accountable to the public.

It is just as much our fault...

Rarely agree with Pat Buchanan, but what he says about this current set of problems being our fault,  is pretty accurate.  WE are just as much to blame by electing these congressmen in the first place and then we keep reelecting them when we have a chance to kick them out.  One of the pointing fingers has to be aimed at our own chests.  We were at our financial best on Jan 19, 2007 and then the roof fell in.  In just two years and two months, the Dow dropped from 14,164 to 7,000 However, not all the blame can be laid upon the Dems...there were plenty of Republicans who failed to voice a strong opposition vote.  Had Bush's budget and fiduciary recommendations been followed, we would not be into a recession...that is fact.  But, while hindsight is always 20-20, we must fight against BHO's trillion plus budget.  This so-called stimulus package will obligate children born in 2050 to pay its bills! Our elected officials must hear a great uproar from all of us....NO MORE OF OUR MONEY FOR PORK!  NO MORE OF OUR MONEY FOR THOSE WHO REFUSE TO WORK FOR IT.  ABSOLUTELY NO ONE DESERVES A GOVERNMENT HANDOUT!  Our government has never in history earned one single dollar.  It  takes the money from those who work for it and gives it to those who refuse to.  It is sort of like getting a blood transfusion from your left arm to your right arm...with a leaky hose!

What's a trillion dollars?   A trillion dollars = $1,000,000,000,000.  That's 12 zeroes to the left of the decimal point. A trillion is a million million dollars. Someone smarter than me figured out that if you laid one dollar bills end to end, you could make a chain that stretches from earth to the moon and back again 200 times before you ran out of dollar bills! One trillion dollars would stretch nearly from the earth to the sun. It would take a military jet flying at the speed of sound, reeling out a roll of dollar bills behind it, 14 years before it reeled out one trillion dollar bills.  That is mind-boggling.

It only took Obama 60 days to go from savior to dunce, fast even by Washington standards...a record that the historically worst co-Presidents, Bill and Hillary, did not reach as quickly.  While it's true Obama succeeded in stealing the election through ACORN & voter fraud in many states and getting a trillion dollar pork package through a Democratic congress, his immediate failures in foreign relations, moral transparency, fiscal irresponsibility, overall arrogance plus a host of irresponsible cabinet selections, certainly have taken our economy as well as our country down the path toward destruction and have made us the laughing stock of the world.  Is this the change the Bush-haters voted for?  I don't think so, but they were warned!  Of course if you don't want the free money to stop, you vote for the guy who promises to keep buying your beer and cigarettes.

We all must work hard so this guy is thrown out of office in 2012, if not before.  However, impeachment for incompetency has never worked before, so it must come from those of us who believe in the work ethic.
